Yes, it is very different...

 

...and it is the reason it took me so long to take the jump and add it to my collection.

I never got to see it "in the flesh" so all I had were a few photos from the seller.

Now I cannot be more glad. It is very atypical, but it is one of the most beautiful dials that I have ever owned.

Suffice to say I have only recently started to wear pink or yellow gold watches...I have been for many years a white gold or platinum kind of guy, call it discreet if you want. So this particular model required a quite dramatical leap of faith. I can tell you that in the flesh the watch looks stunning while keeping an utmost classicism and discretion.
