Yema x Klokkeriet Speedgraf

After a good long wait (and massive fees imposed by good ol’ DHL) the Yema x Klokkeriet Speedgraf has come in. I’m loving it!

I’ve always been wary of chronos, especially automatic ones, due to their thickness. This guy comes in at 15.5mm which is pretty significant, but at least 2.5mm is from the domed sapphire, which adds to the retro appeal. But it actually wears pretty well for its thickness. And at 39mm it fits well on my 6.75in wrist. I’m definitely keeping it on a two piece strap as not to add any more thickness with something like a NATO.

I’m continuously surprised by the level of finishing on Yema’s watches at the price point that they charge. The dial and case are pretty immaculately finished, and the leather strap doesn’t feel cheap.

I’m always a sucker for panda dials so when Yema announced this special edition with Klokkeriet (a Norwegian watch enthusiast club) I jumped on board. No regrets!

Didn't know it is was a remake. At Ancienne in Barcelona they still have pictures of a crazy vintage one. Thanks for sharing yours S.A.G.

Wow that’s cool!

Yema has been doing a lot of re-issues but doing them well with modern touches that don’t ruin the vintage feel

Totally agree.
