In the ideal world I’d love to own one of these too. Re the coating, I thought that PE-CVD was the process whereas DLC is a coating. For this watch, what is the actual coating?
Good point! Yes, the material is DLC.
But on most watch cases it is applied via PVD, not PE-CVD. The black is deeper and less reflective than what I have seen on other dlc coated watches.

Yes. I have seen a few of the 103s and it is definitely a very different black to my 105 (PVD) and other PVD watches I own. Those can have a gray tint to them, or sometimes more lead pencil like.
