Independents

Up there in my Pantheon of watches

that is those that are the ones where price or collectabiity play no role at all - and there is no placement by rank.

The Harvest Moon is not the only one by Stepan in my pantheon, for which there is only one criterion - that they have to be regularly enjoyed and worn - and enjoyed while being worn!

My latest entry into the pantheon - seat of the gods honored by the ancient Romans - is the S.U.F "The Flying Finn", one of Stepan's greatest designs, but under the name of his own company. Is it any less effective although somewhat more affordable than some of his others? Not at all, if you forget about the reverse side, which is not styled or decorated beyond it's clearly functional and yet masterful workmanship. Some may appear "delicate", but believe me they are robust and designed to last.

Congratulations!

And I especially to you, SethRL, because I only can only offer congratulations to those who have (and wear) the same watch that I do myself, and are as enthusiastic about it, regardless of any customizing. Stepan is just great for doing that - and is also a great person to know, although I have not had the opportunity to actually meet him.
