What I wanted to get out of this hobby. After about 5 years of moving through the mainstream luxury brands, I decided if i'm going to be part of this hobby/community, I should try to support the people moving it forward. Thus, my journey began and I found Habring. The Felix had just been announced to celebrate their first 10 years, exactly when my 10 year wedding anniversary was rolling around. It was destiny.
I have never met the Habrings even though I only live 4 hours away. When things at work calm down I'd love to see their workshop as I see a chrono in my future.
They have been great to deal with and when I accidently dropped my watch, and who knows what I did to the movement, they fixed it at no charge. It was just 'jammed' was all Maria said. I sent the watch in and 3 weeks later it was already on my wrist. First class all the way around.
I'll leave my praise with this: I often find myself looking at watches in the same price range, let's say the 4-7k euro range, and it is really, really difficult to find a watch as nice as this in person.
