The numerals are part of the dial itself from the start, raised from the same piece of gold rather than applied later.
Once formed, the surrounding surface is worked with a sharp steel tool, tapped thousands of times to create the fine, irregular tremblage texture right up to the edges of the numerals. The result is a softly glowing background with crisp, integrated numerals. Nothing is stamped, nothing is added, and no two dials are ever the same.
