If I'm correct, the French Master watchmaker made 8 timepieces and rarely one comes on the market ! JB Viot have specialised in restoration especially for Breguet, so no wonder this movement inspired by the French traditional finish and 18th century pocke...

I knew there were very few of them but just 8? That's so painfully few that it makes me sadly certain that one will never be mine.

Of course that just makes the pain of loss all the sharper, since I'm not someone who buys six figure watches: if I'd been at the right place at the right time, I could have afforded to own one of these!

On first glance my thoughts were JB was ahead of his time in terms of design and the aesthetic of that watch and dial specifically. It’s contemporary today, and will probably continue to be so. The case and lugs may be a little less so perhaps. I think th...
