Last friday I had the pleasure to meet Stepan Sarpaneva and try on some of his watches. I am finally ready to acquire a Sarpaneva, but still have to figure out which one. The only thing that's really clear is that it needs the famous moon phase. But I gue...  

I followed Stepan's creations for a few years before I acquired one, my only regrets is that I did not purchase one sooner. Stephan is great to work with, I have really enjoyed my Sarpaneva, especially when it is a full moon. Best, JerryW

The Green is more daring, because it is not as easy to wear as the Blue or another. In the long term, I mean. Let us know what is your decision, please. Best, Nicolas

but I have already chosen the Blue. The decision was not easy, but I could prefer it for taking long walks in the dark along a Northgerman canal. The black-violet combination is most appealing for a night club atmosphere with neon lights in the City and i...

I LOVE the new northern lights version... the black badger lume is just amazing!!! I am not sure which is my favourite the blue or the green, both equally stunning and at night that something different. Cheers Andrew ...

Especially at night! Is the enamel to conservative? Or is it even more 'insane'? Putting such a classic part in a dial (and watch) like that?

but with what can it be worn? A bathrobe! I imagine emerging from the bedroom of my hotel suite all set for coffee, a brioche, and the first of a string of interviews about my latest film project. The problem is that there is no hotel suite, film project ... 

as I was still debating enamel or the Blue Northern Light Stepan told me decision is fairly easy as all of the Northern Lights are sold out....

I was not aware that "sold out" was a possibility. Hopefully you'll be able to lay your hands on one some way somehow. Darren

Stepan made only eight pieces of each color- blue, green and purple. The reception was stellar and they sold quickly. I believe you can get one from Martin Pulli in PA., he ordered a few and last I spoke to him not all were spoken for yet... Jonathan

Sadly, the debate is over. You'll be lucky to find just one piece available.
