I did have a problem with the original strap, since the coloring ended up notoriously on my wrist. Not so with a replacement from Vianney,
As I have written previously, no problem with the the buckle "eating into" the strap.
The strap reminds me in no way of a strip of film put into a (now) old-time camera. The sprocket holes - yes! But these did not rip or tear even until this day, although I wear the Goldpfeil only a couple of days per month, and never under humid or sweaty conditions.
But I am completely biased!
Getting into and out of the strap is as simple for me as it gets. Bu at that time, I was a photographer!
