In my thread dedicated to Observatory dial watches , I recently highlighted Bernhard Lederer 's wonderful Triple Observatory Certified CIC 44 (Central Impulse Chronometer ref. CIC 9012.10.710). But, at 44 x 12.2 mm, this watch was a big one and not fitted...  

That movement!

not 44mm like the Triple Certified, and as some of the photos show, it seems to be very nice on a woman’s wrist, don’t you think so?

And the size. Not sure the dials themselves get me particularly excited cited, though and neither does the price 😊🤷🏻‍♂️

but I personally like the white dial and the focus on chronometry with a magnificent display case back. In April 2023, at AHCI, I went to Lederer’s stand and he very patiently tried to explain to me his technical ideas about the dual detent escapement. A ... 

but the blue is very fine too. And, yes, the movement and display case back are impressive. Best, Emmanuel

I would expect more, otherwise a gorgeous piece.

I imagine it has something to do with the fact that there are two gear trains and two remontoirs d’égalité… But such a limited power reserve gives you the pleasure to wind the watch daily (a ritual I personally cherish)! Best, Emmanuel

and filled out the entire case too. The case is also quite interesting... I would like to see the curved sapphire case back. The lugs are so short. Dial is rather simple though and the price is absurd to me.

except for the price. The idea might that, since everything is double in these watches (two independent barrels, two independent gear trains, two constant-force mechanisms, two independent escapement wheels), you have to pay for two watches! ;-) Just a jo... 

The 39mm is a big step forward. Nevertheless, still missing that magic balance between the stunning movement (kind of a W12 Bugatti !) and its case, dial. Hopefully they'll get soon this balance right. Thanks for sharing
