As promised, please find my Kari Voutilainen report. It would have been a pity to wait for more days because Kari proposed us two surprises this year: - the use of caliber 28 in a smaller case (37mm) - and its first Tourbillon watch Let's start with the 2...  

That tourbillon is one of those few examples of perfection on earth. The 2-eight, however is the first of Kari's watches which I in my eyes could be improved. The case and dial are great, but I think the hand lengths could be optimised still. I'm sure Kar... 

Yes, I was very happy to be able to see the Tourbillon. About the hands lengths of the 2-Eight, it was not a main issue for me. We will see that will be the final result. Fx

Very nice report and a very nice tourbillon too! I love the level of finish on his pieces, just wish they were a few mm bigger for my wrist. Cheers Andrew

We had a discussion with Kari about the "size" topic. I think he will always stay in reasonable sizes. Big sizes are not for him even if the movements are not that small. 30mm diameter starts to be quite large. Fx

I know FX, a bit disappointing for me as a 44 (or even 42) would be stunning, but maybe just have to look for a partnership piece like the LM1 or maybe a future Opus...?

I remember reading the release on this one and thinking it would be cool... however I think there is far too much going on the dial for my liking. I like KV's normal plain sort of dial, for me this is very busy, cluttered and just looks like they were try... 

Minus the tourbillon?

Perfect size.... Hoping more variation of the dial. Must discuss with him Wow! One word - nice! Tourbillon is nice, but other than the placement of the small dial, the dial is too similar to the original Observatoire and how I should think about it..... A...

The way it looks so simple and clean. Whereas other Tourbillon displays are quite aesthetically "heavy", this one is very pure. There seems to be only 4 parts in this display ^^, without your clue I would have missed that point. I guess it is more spectac... 

It is an hypnotizing Tourbillon but sadly I didn't take any picture. Fx
