MIng just released its ultra thin 27.01 stainless steel watch in a limited production of 125 pieces at 1pm GMT today. All 125 pieces were sold out by 1.08pm GMT and I am glad to say I was one of the lucky ones. The 27.01 is Ming's thinnest watch at 6.9mm ...

I am very excited about this piece which just shows one can be excited about a watch at any price range!

An interesting brand indeed which seems to have got its marketing correct which will prove effective in these challenging times.

I very nice looking watch . I didn’t try to get one as i am still very happy with my two Ming watches and wanted to safe up some cash for a bigger purchase in the near future . Looking forward to see your pics when its on your wrist soon .

and I recall one of the two is a very special limited edition piece in very small numbers. There are so many lovely watches coming up and I currently have my eye on the new FP Journe Resonance which means I too should be more disciplined with my watch pur...

I know you are a great fan of Ming and for me, this is my favourite MIng watch so far probably due to its thinness and the exposed manual movement.

It is very beautiful and very clean.

I thought so too and did not hesitate to press the order button immediately and had to back track as I had totally forgotten to check the dimensions of the watch!

It is always nerve wrecking trying to order a limited production watch that sells out within 8 minutes on the internet.

And without typos!!

But it just shows how desperate I was! Selling off 125 watches in 8 minutes is quite something though and these were more than three times the price of the GPHG award winning copper dial 17.06.

Is def much resilient to handle the load than US unemployment systems written in Cobol. 😉

I think for a mini independent, they will weather the storm much better than many other larger companies.

I have really warmed to the World Timer from Ming but just haven't been able to pull the trigger on a 12K watch from such a new brand. But I would have bought this one in a heartbeat (I always miss these LE sales). Congrats again. That thing is cool!

The world timer has a lovely movement that fills up the case back well. Look at it this way - it is one of the best value world timers in the market and pretty rare even though the watch is not a limited edition. How it fits your wrist though is an essent...
