It reminds me somewhat of Pascal Coyon's first watch which was very much affordable compared to his current creations even though they still represent excellent value for money just based on the movement finishing. But at 15, I may have still be playing with Lego so anyone able to create a good watch deserves high praise.

apart from perhaps Kurono and the M.A.D range of watches, most brands which started as affordable brands don't stay affordable for too long :-(
