Independents

I hope I'm not wrong, but there seems to have been very little or even no real talk at all on this site concerning this independent watchmaker and his first creation. So I thought I'd just throw in a few photos and personal reactions based on these photos...  

For me, white dial with blue numerals in a rg case (predictably...)!

I like to judge the YS for u. Me as judge Ket. From first pictures i can not swipe the YS watches from off the table. U spelled the specifications, so here i can do more. While i am personally go these period flat, i will reject all watches thicker than 1... 

I have a very hard time with the price. I'm not sure how a first time time only watch from unknown independent without any unique or inventive aesthetic or movement can justify such a price of 80,000 CHF / $95,000 USD. Lots of similar alternatives at a mu...

I think maybe the adherence to such a traditional aesthetic makes it hard to generate a lot of news plus the price is strong out of the gate and the volume limited so I don't think there's a mad rush like there are for some other new indies. Personally I'... 

So let's see what will be coming later. But if I have the opportunity in the meanwhile, I'll definitely check his Primevère! Best.

In the current pseudo indy micro brand hype I think he is the real deal, I hope you find one and post pics and impressions! I just noticed in the sjx article you posted which is older they mention a much cheaper steel case option which would super excitin...
