Hello dear friends !
The arrival of my Spaceone has just touched down and it’s been well worth the wait.
This Spaceone is constructed of brushed titanium and in my opinion really suits this watch whilst still feeling substantial, comfortable and durable.
The movement is a Swiss-made automatic movement from Soprod, running at 28,000vph and with a power reserve of 38 hours. The cool jump hour module within the Spaceone was developed by the French watchmaker Theo Auffret, who, together with Guillaume Laidet, is a co-founder of Spaceone Watches.
When you look at the watch, only the seconds and minute discs will be turning except for when the hour changes. When that happens, the hour disk jumps directly to the next hour. It’s very convenient because the hour is always right in the middle, making it very easy to read.
You can enjoy seeing the hours jumping by in the Soaceone’s sapphire command centre housed within the beautifully finished titanium structure.

It’s got an interesting futuristic/70’s futurism vibe.

The case is beautifully tapered and measures 12.6mm in depth but feels slimmer due to the way the case is shaped.
We are all children at heart 😉
