Something completely different: Nomos Neomatik Sport 42 Blue

Wow! When I saw this for the first time online I really liked the look of it. I had seen watches from Nomos before but never paid much attention. Until the Club Series, especially the Club Atlantik that I really liked. But that one does not have a stew down crown and no guick-set date. And then I stumbled upon this beauty. The right size (I like big for sports watches), a screw down crown and even a novelty from the Nomos engineers: you can change the date forward and backwards!!! The little red ring you seen when the crown is unscrewed functions as a warning before going into water: close the crown! I love this piece and I love the case back and the fact you can see the calibre that is an in-house calibre from Nomos. Great watch overall!!!

The other brands from Glashütte are also very nice, but I guess you have to start somewhere and to me this is a good start. I really like their commitment of producing the watch in-house and looking for innovations like the date setting. Not bad for such ...
