Dornbluth but divers?
Any independents out there doing what Dornbluth does with dress watches but for divers? Basically dressing up/reworking an off the shelf movement and charging a very reasonable price for it? I would love a semi-custom diver in this vein.
And not sure if
it's what you're looking for. Dornbluth movements are beautifully decorated, not so with SUF.
That's what I was going to suggest.
Idiosyncratic independently-made divers at a reasonable price. Don't know about the movements, though!
