shipping cost - ouch!
I recently damaged my DB15 so took it to my AD. Quote comes back for epairs and service and DB doing some other bits and pieces free of charge which of course expensive but not unreasonable considering the watch
What I wasnt expecting was the £450 EACH way shipping charge!!! (due in full to the cost of insuring etc)
Next time I'll take it there myself!!

That seems wrong....
and those charges should be fought. AD's typically negotiate good rates with their shipping companies, including reasonable insurance charges. I would ask to see the invoice for the shipping of your watch and make them justify the charge. Bill
They might be including "handling"....
Depending if they are making any money on the service charges, there is an opportunity for them to make a little margin by adding a little something into the shipping charge. If you have an AD handle the shipping to and fro, I don't think it is unreasonab...
