Hi All,
Following on from last night's dinner in Sydney, Peter continued his whirlwind world tour with a collectors dinner at Taxi Dinning Room at Federation Square in Melbourne. Twenty people enjoyed chatting to Peter about his watchmaking and the new manual wind Thalassa. No formal presentations, just an opportunity for Peter to meet with watch enthusiasts. As I was emailing last night to some of the Melbourne guys who attended, I wish that I'd flown down for this, two PSM dinners in two days is not too many, after all Looks like a fabulous evening, hopefully I get to make it down there sometime.

...I hope that we get to meet at some point. I am kicking myself that I didn't come down! Poor Peter. I hope that he wasn't too tired. So much travelling in such a short period of time. He's such a great guy, I hope he makes it a habit to come back annual...

It was a great evening and all executed with naval precision. That SEALS training obviously pays off. But we will have to stop meeting at airports! Already looking forward to the next GTG. Andrew

Gosh, wish the powers that be would hurry up and invent that transporter beam thing from Star Trek, so I could've been with all of you in Melbourne. The food looked great (as it always seems to be around you), and the watches sublime. I love the new Thala...

Hi Daos, You would have been very welcome of course. While Peter's automatic rotor is a great design (beautifully finished and catches the light in all sorts of ways) and gives you a good view of the SM2 movement, the manual wind SM2 in the Thalassa is a ...
