Recent visit to Akrivia
couple of weeks ago i got a chance to be again visiting Akrivia.
while i'll wait few more months for my RR CC1, we discussed a little about the RR Chronometre Contemporain Series 2...planned to be introduced in early-2021.
what can i say, i was happy to see the pic of the new movements...
RRCC2 has an entirely new movement designed, with double barrel, the retains the 'symmetrical' nature seen in other Akrivia or RR movements.
the case is also newly designed, fully hand made by Mr. Jean-Pierre Hagmann (Yes...the very same man who was famous for his Patek Philippe cases).
unfortunately, i can't share any pics of it - we'll just have to wait but personally i think it is worth the wait !
there was only one watch i could take pic...the regulator tourbillon with the hand chiselled dial (if i recollect well, this timepiece is limited to 12 pcs).
Also a pic of AK06, the first non-tourbillon model of Akrivia line....here in Titanium case.

Beautiful...
...I tried on the chiseled-dial version and it is amazingly comfortable... In photos it looks large but it fit my 7.25" wrist perfectly...and the dial really does sparkle in the sun : )
Regulator or Barette mirror will absolutely will fit your wrist better...
I’ve a small wrist. RRCC or AK06 fits well for me.
Unfortunately he have shipped all pieces that week so I was left with only one...
Next time I’ll get a bit more I hope.
i hope they stay in focus like what FPJ did...

News of a CC2 is very exciting
It would be hard to improve upon CC1, can I assume CC2 will exist along side CC1 or has CC1 been discontinued (which would be an absolute shame)?

You Just need to have patience i guess . Can’t wait to see some renders or pics from the new CC2 . That Regulator and AK06 looks so incredible and stunning (but thats how all there watches are imho 😉) can’t wait to visit the atelier again , really miss vi...
i do enjoy the wait...it is a great teacher in deed.
i agree all Akrivia are beautiful but AK06 fits better for my wrist size than the rest of the AK. but mechanically speaking, all of them are marvels ! Best, mahesh.,

Lucky you managed to snag a cc1 I am wishing and hoping and praying for a cc2 Julian
true Julian...but i didn't see the CC2, i was lucky to see the prototype case & pic of movement (not the dial itself)
i was quite early getting in for a CC1 & it is worth the wait imho ! Best, mahesh.,
