This year I have been impressed with two watches launched by the under rated Glashutte brand, Moritz Grossmann. Both are 41mm in diameter and share a similar case but that is as far as the similarities go. The Hamatic launched a couple of months ago in Mo...  

thanks to the movement and classic elegant dial.

why no manufacturer has introduced this alternative of the automatic movement because it looks so much more attractive than one with a rotor, even a mini rotor and I am including Laurent Ferrier's galet micro rotor too

Correct me if I am wrong but are the the skeletonised ones with the 'B' incorporated in the rotor?

micro rotors although better looking than most semi rotors did not have the sufficient weight to power a movement. Yes, Patek, Chopard, Laurent Ferrier and even Mont Blanc have done it but many manufacturers still prefer the reliability and accuracy of th...

It would be great if Moritz Grossmann incorporate the vintage logo to their entire collection. Perhaps they are using the Power Reserve Vintage as a test bed for this idea!

After some mishaps with heat blueing steel, I know how hard it is to get that maroon color of the hands on the manual wind. And the Grossman auto is a marvel in watchmaking (even if I mean that a proper wristwatch is manually wound).

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, I too am partial to manual winding watches but that automatic movement is so incredible to look at!

I'm a little surprised at how much flak MG gets over it's logo, I find it relatively benign. The logo on yours is of course the best however, very nicely tucked away at 6! The Hamatic is awesome, I'm curious if there are any particular pros/cons of the ha...
