The thing about the dial, and what makes it hard to photograph, is that what is shown in the photo is really something that you would see in a momentary flash if the watch is on your wrist.
In fact the watch is supremely legible, but the magic is it "flashes" different dials to you depending on the light and the angle you look at it from. Sometime it just looks boring and dark blue or almost black. Then sometimes just around the subseconds you can see an amazing lusterous blue. Then sometimes, if the light hits just right for a moment as you live your wrist you see a flash of blue chrome. If you look at it to tell time it is never a problem.
