That watch is butt-ugly.
More amusing to me is it seems as though I'm the only one who thinks so...........or the only one willing to say so.
Do you all really like it or are you reluctant to blast it because it was posted my an esteemed and respected member of the community?
Even Harry's exquisite photo's can't make this one look good.

The casewaork..has it improved?
My problem with the earlier pieces were that the cases seem to be very "in need" of edge finish, thickness of metal..at times it seemed as if the cases were "thin".

Unfortunately I could nocate a better pic. IN the Seventies, there was a tv series named "UFO". The alien spaceships had a very similar appearance to that watch, if the latter is seen in profile. Regards, Marcus...
Marcus - I remember that series...
It was a hoot and looking back that was a time when UFO interest was just taking off in the media. The Sarpaneva should be called UHO. "Unidentified Horological Object"? LOL!
