...as there is one way in which the dial might be improved. It is a distraction to see the very linear, fixed, name of the brand revolve around the dial with the numerals. It will read upside down and left to right at different times of the day. Better, perhaps, to have the brand name on the bezel (if there needs to be a brand name at all). Alternatively, if it has to be on the dial, perhaps it could encircle the minute hand pinion.

I would get rid of the minute hand ...
... altogether and just have a small pointer on the bezel at the 12 o'clock position. That would be a cleaner way to read the flow of time. They could then put "Angular Momentum" in a circle around the centre of the dial, as you suggest, so it wouldn't re...

Or what about a small arrow that circles the bezel for the minutes....
But still leave the dial the way it is having that rotate too, that way they would go in opposite directions, would look way cleaner
