My pleasure, dear Lu Cash 😊

 

1. When my AD offered me this watch (silver dial, WG case), Moser no longer produced it. The production costs for this form-movement may simply have been too high.
I loved the shape of this case.
But this wonderful gray-brown fumé dial was my real dream. And this special dial was only delivered in combination with the palladium case. My AD therefore made an inquiry to Moser for me directly.
And in fact one of these rectangular dials was still in stock in the version I wanted. It was (at least back then) the last dial of its kind. In the next step, the dial was simply implemented in the white gold case, and my dream watch was born. At that time I even got a written confirmation from Mr. Meylan that my watch was “unique” (1 of 1). I don't know whether that still applies today.

2. The dial has a special brown-grey touch. It is hard to describe. You really have to see it in person. And my weak photography skills with the iPhone don't help either… ;-)

Yes, the tonneau shaped Henry Moser is really incredible. Also the similarity regarding our taste. ☺️🙏 Regarding my Henry Moser it is a long story because the grey fumé dial was just produced in combination with the Palladium case. It took me quite a time...

Why you did not want palladium case and went with WG instead? Is the dial grey or brownish grey as it looks different in different pictures?

And the Moser Perpetual Purity is one of the few watches where I find the indications are perfectly solved. They don’t reduce the purity and simplicity of the dial. I always forget that it’s a perpetual calendar. Best Thomas ...
