You're right, Paul is undoubtedly "one of the industries best known figures", and he's also a true friend of PuristSPro. That's the reason why I'd like to shyly express my opinion on his watches.
IMVHO they're very interesting (if not excellent) on the technical side, while the aesthetic is a bit poor. I think that these timepieces aren't the nicest; I'd say that their design is a bit too "naive" and "teutonic": I mean they slightly lack in fantasy and originality and they look a bit obsolete and/or infantile. But the Gerbers have proven to be able to propose very cool watches, such as the Gerber P10; why don't continue on that design-route??? Come on, Paul and Ruth, you know how to design much, much better watches!!!
Some of the details I don't like, on the watches you've shot, are the following: the Model 42's crown is too big; the day/night indicator looks unnatural; the Model 33's hands don't match the case style.
I'm sorry for these criticisms, I hope I haven't hurt nobody's feelings!
