Another POV

I respectfully offer another POV.  I've been using my Model 42 Pilot on a rubber strap for extended periods.  It is lightweight, easy to read day or night, and sits comfortably on my wrist without "rolling" (a feature that I have yet to experience with any other "large" case watch.)

We all have the right to hold and express our own opinion based on our personal taste, and whatever other criteria we choose, and IMO this is a "classic" looking pilot watch that does indeed have an aesthetic that is attractive to many people.  By way of anecdote, at a lunch meeting a couple weeks ago a gentleman who has not expressed any interest in watches, and in fact I don't remember ever seeing him use a watch in the decades that I have known him, unexpectedly proclaimed that he liked my 42 Pilot.

As the old saying goes, there's no accounting for taste.  There are many watches available in the market, and luckily they don't all look the same.  JMO.
