... of the different escapement designs would be great. It sounds like it should be a third-year practical exercise in the best watchmaking schools anyway.
I note that the biannual Concourse International de Chronometrie this year will include a separate section for Tourbillon escapements. Not head-to-head comparisons, but the overall scoring in the conventional and tourbillon escapement categories should be enlightening.

Tested through Greubel Forsey’s EWT (Experimental Watch Technology), the movement had shown superior timekeeping over the single plane tourbillon in a wrist watch or with a basic lever escapement. Shown?

That's not data, that's a pretty picture open to any interpretation you feel like. Numbers? Scale? Algorithmic/linear? Sample sizes?... In the good old days companies gave real data, and even got testing authorities to provide it for them. nick
