Love this movement!
This is definitely on my "for later purchase consideration" list. Curious if you have found it any different than a regular, rotor wound automatic? Any difference in the way it feels or the "ease" of winding?

For the Hamatic, "like" is a slight understatement
Half a year ago I tried snagging one at auction that another purist was offloading, but the numbers quickly zoomed way beyond my limit (good for him, sad for me!)
I remembered that auction in HK…
Indeed that esteemed purist offloaded quite many of the superb pieces, each of which is a grail of many of us, unclear as to why but I guessed it must be for something bigger.
indeed, at least 20 or 24 pieces
...and those are just the ones i could identify. something bigger indeed, am guessing not a timepiece.

Does anyone know if Grossmann is the only brand that puts screw-posts behind the pallet jewels?
They're very visible in your picture. I like how they amplify the running sound of Grossmann wristwatches -- you can hear the watch tick-tick-ticking halfway across a quiet room
In the Zeitwerk the posts are banking pins playing a functional role, aren't they? [Apologies, I sould've been clearer with my inquiry]

My MG is not so loud. I can’t hear the best unless I put my ear close to the watch. On the other hand, my gronefeld remontoire is the loudest I have heard. I can hear it miles away. 🤣
I've not yet had the pleasure of seeing/holding a Gronefeld watch in the metal

Very beautiful movement on this one.
The hammer rotor here does not move as easily as the regular rotor. So the winding efficiency is not as good. The swing motion is great to look at though.
