one would be that Volker is such a perfectionist that he cannot let go a watch until virtually everything down to the tiniest screw is made to his expectations. His efforts to produce dials, cases, hands, boyes etc. himself alludes to that notion.
If we for moment consider this is the case, then I think each Vyskocil watch will be one of the most individual, coherent and personal watches ever produced in watchmaking history. And certainly not a business case!
Now let's just hope (and have patience;-))!

Patience
is a virtue and everyone waiting for theirs has a lot of it! Although I think someone purists are thinking about putting him in watch prison to ensure that we get our watches before we all die!!!

I just celebrated the 7th anniversary of my order and seriously I don't
think this watch will ever happen. Let's face it Volker had a great story and a great prototype but that's it. "You never really own a Vyskocil, you just wait for it for a few générations" :-)

A lot of ppl still have patience and faith.
Last week, a friend just asked for my view whether she should wait or ask for the refund. My simple answer is: Wait. But I believe everything has its limit. One day, the patience and faith will fade before they disappear completely. Regards Ling
