KV is an amazing person and a true master craftsman.
His watches are always a magnet for any watch junkie without fail, something I have personally witnessed over the years. His dials, movement finishing, etc... are just tops. Of course, this is my biased opinion, and there are many other independent watchmakers out there whose pieces I would love to own.
If you do decide to go down that road, I highly recommend you visit the atelier, it gives a certain perspective. Plus, he's a wonderful host.
You really can't go wrong with anything from him, so just follow your heart and don't worry. I let him pick colors on mine, except for the dial.
In any case, I wish you good luck. Just be patient, it is well worth the wait.

I have one on order, supposed to be delivered in a couple of months. So far I have collected pictures of his watches and put my favorites in an album. I am looking forward to Kari’s help in trying to figure out the right combination for me!
There are so many possibilities that I would second guess myself most likely. It’s a daunting tasks and may keep me from exploring further. So many iterations!

I think the solution comes through the long and pleasant discussions you will have with Kari. That's THE best thing with Independents. They take their time, they are very helpful.
