Ken,great info
Sounds like you have a very good grasp regarding some or their technological innovations, which are impressive.
For me one of the key features of a fine watch is the winding feel. To my liking, best I have ever felt is a Lange PLM. Others such as Datograph are high on the list, with a precise yet very smooth touch. This is one area for instance where Kari's Observatoire and Vingt-8 fall back a bit for me personally--there is considerable resistance in winding, that makes it a bit of a chore to achieve full power.
Really not as important with an auto rotor, but did you have the chance to feel the winding of the micro-rotor piece? How about the Gallet Tourb?
