That Greubel Forsey Balancier Contemporain really is a striking looking watch.
I am not very familiar with Greubel Forsey watches but I like most of what I have seen and this one really is a stand out piece. Marc

The emphasis on "final edition" and retiring the watch is interesting. GF has been guilty of releasing "limited" edition after limited edition of the same caliber so I wonder if this is a sign of change from the new CEO
For example, this brings the contemporain to something like 200 pieces across wg, rg, gem set, and steel. That's not many examples in the grand scheme of things but seemingly a lot if you were one of the first customers of the "limited" edition of 33. At ...

But then GF does the same thing with sizes! They've been releasing new Convexe models that have slightly better dimensions every year or so. They just updated the GMT to make it much better size wise for example.

I think they should simply be more up front! The limited thing doesn’t bug me much but I think if I bought one of the big 46mm ones and then they released a 41mm or 42mm…I’d be a little annoyed.
