LM 101(left) vs LM Perpetual(right) ...  

I like the deep more dramatic anglage on the perpetual, however, the 101 has a nice neat and sharp presentation as well. Fine watches 👍

The difference is quite marked based on the images. The finish ( chamfering) on LM Perpetual seems more industrial than the artisanal finish of LM101. The gear teeth also seem better finished similarly on LM101.

I am cautious to express an opinion here, as both look very good, but to put it in the late George Daniels’ words, there is less trace of the LM101 movement having being “made”, in fact hardly any trace at all, and the end result is that it looks more as ... 

To my novice eyes the anglage on the perpetual resembles how Dufour does his in deep and broad fashion. It's nice to see both approaches!

The anglage is definitely deeper in the perpetual, and I think both movements look great. However, to my also novice eyes the polishing in the grooves of the wheels on the LM101 looks perfect, and although the anglage is definitely less wide, the overall ... 

We’ll just have to take your word for it, that they are equally-finished.

However my heart goes to Kari’s LM101 if I had to choose only one 😉, but why choosing both are 🤪
