I tried on a Rexhepi (his own prototype)...

I would be happy to go vintage at 35 - 36mm, and there are some beauties out there (PP 3940 for example).
To me, a ‘dress’ watch should be elegant and unobtrusive. It is somewhat disappointing that a brand like this, that clearly takes inspiration from, and pays tribute to, watches of yesteryear, should build something in this larger size. An option for 36 or 38mm would be a sure winner imho...
Either way, these are beautiful pieces that deserve our attention.

On the 26 th October last year I made one of my regular visits to 30 Berkeley Square, the London offices of Phillips auction house, to view some of the consigned timepieces that were to be up for sale in Geneva, Hong Kong and New York the following month....
Baruch, you just make me want to see these watches " in the metal ". Especially the steel version. The dial is top, the applied hours markers, too. The movement, wow!

At 42.2mm I’m not sure how it would look...

Indeed these beauties are obviously in the family of dress watches but probably due to my small wrist I consider the ideal size to be around 38 / 39 mm for a dress watch...

Just a note on the PVD. Firstly, Richard, being very particular about language, corrected me when I called it printing so make sure you don't make the same mistake if you meet him! And secondly, the method is particularly exciting as far as I'm concerned ...
I actually quite like the size,
combined with the short lugs it looks like as if the watch is stretched taut over the wrist, giving the image of under tension and muscular, like a tiger ready to strike, if that makes sense. Not sure that's the image they would like to portray but it loo...
