Our friend, um, Lim and I ate there Wednesday and compared notes ; )
Would you believe that someone stole my umbrella? Or mistakenly took, I should say, I didn't notice until half an hour later. They were very nice and cut me a check for a new one.

It must have been a memorable moment. We can recognize the work of an Independant as there are several differences in writings/fonts: the caliber's texts are different, the "V" for Vianney is different etc ... and on the dial side, some figures are differ...
The small variations do make for interesting study
I am sure that there are no two of these absolutely alike! I did have a bit of trouble telling them apart, but the lettering on the caliber is the easiest differentiator... Best, Gary

A not easy to see vision. Beautiful and exclusive creations. Love it since the first time I saw it in 1998, and after trying it at Basel in 1999/2000, the feeling became much stronger. Thanks for sharing the two beauties, and congratulations to the owners...
