I recently met both Ludovic and Vianney. I got the chance to handle a number of pieces from each.
Ludovic's watches did not sit too well on my wrist. Deviating a little from topic, he had if I recall correctly a one of one dial made from cows milk. Yes, cows milk.
Re Vianney, I also have my eyes open for a Classic. I think for me that may be the most appropriate. Antiqua maybe, but I'm not sure about it!
HYT and every MB&F aside from the 101 is too large for me and the 101 doesn't fit the search criteria! I don't find myself drawn to the HMX at all.
Lots of great suggestions, thanks for taking the time. Part of the difficulty with anything like we are discussing here is that these are all somewhat off the run and so it's difficult to get enough wrist time with any to make a real determination. The only solution I know is to move to Singapore - the land of independents!

Yes and no. I had a chance to see the 103 earlier this year at a Christies preview (I think).

Regarding another possibility even if the watch is quite big (45mm), have a look at the MCT sequential. They have an interesting way to display the time for me. Best wishes Alkiro

And reading your criteria and the watches you already have considered I couldn’t think of something else.
Thanks Arie, MB&F was the other obvious choice for me but their fun stuff wears too big for me.
Also, as crazy as the 105 may be, from everything I've read here and elsewhere it wears very comfortably.

105 isn't a huge watch, but 103 is even more compact, and wears closer to the wrist if size is a concern.
You get an automatic movement with the 105, and the earlier 103 come with a manual wind momvement. The automatic movement does add reasonable bulk to the watch. I suggest you try both before making any final decision. As for alterantives, I highly recomme...
I've had the 103 on the wrist, in a variety of metals and finish. I prefer the 105.
And yes, De Bethune has gotten a airing also with the DB28 Dark Shadows being something I've taken a shine to.
Either the 105 or the DB would make a great addition
