I love their sheer audacity,
and unquestionable authenticity. Some of them are 'too much' for my taste, but others are exactly what I imagine a modern, original, avant-garde wristwatch ought to be like. I saw this specific variant randomly posted online a few days ago and I think it's the best one yet from Urwerk

I believe it should be counting in 5 sec increments.
Thus, it should be reading 55 on the seconds counter after 50. Great watch by the way I had contemplated the 111c several times. Very unique.

I'm a little cheesed that I paid retail to have an error dial though. I bet you won't see this happen in a PP at this price point.. If I'm not mistaken the base movement isn't in house.
Unfortunately errors happen to all manufacturers at some point, no one is perfect.
Base caliber is a zenith elite if I recall. I believe their only in house movement was the EMC.
No I mean we have expectations that should be met..
Especially at these prices but mistakes can happen. It’s how they deal with it which is more important for me😉

I keep on going back and forth on the UR111. How often do you get to wear it? Is it more "practical" than one would think?

I haven't worn it more than a week and I have gotten it for two months already. Urwerk is much more mood dependent for me than a normal watch. Havign said that, it is definitely great for driving as the time is legible while steering the wheel
