Mainly media based projects, so photography and videography for a nine part lecture that the Frodsham team gave last November on the process of manufacturing a precision English wristwatch.

Research on known, and some unknown, Frodsham timepieces (the current owners retain an extensive archive on the firm's history).

Photographing any Frodsham timepieces brought into the London gallery by owners so that the database could be updated.

And some other 'secret' projects!

Why slog it out on a waitlist for a steel sports watch when you can wait a similar amount of time and be the proud owner of a truly rare piece of horological artistry? ...

Agreed on the waiting time but the price range is way different compared to a steel sports watch unfortunately.

That's correct. Very different types of watches too and so perhaps not a great comparison. Still, if I had the means I know which I'd go for. [nt]

Congrats, indeed a stunning piece - I love enamel dials and this might have easily been one from the pictures (while it's in fact ceramic). A real beauty to have on your wrist! ;-) [nt]

In its September 2018 article, SJX based in Singapore listed the prices as follows: £68,500 in steel, £73,000 in 18k rose gold, and £74,500 in 22k yellow gold. [nt]

Yes, you right. In my case i never was on a waiting list. But that have to do i order no Rolex. And, there are enough rare and special watches.

At only a dozen watches produced a year, it is just not easy to get one if someone wants one. I would also rather wait for something like this than a standard SS sport's watch 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ [nt]
