I wish they'd tried harder, but unfortunately they chose the easy way out. Don't get me wrong, it's a fun watch, it's 2k something and we can't ask for more, or maybe we should? I had the Seiko disco burger, which was almost impossible to read, the number... 

I also can’t disagree with your point on what can/should be expected. Honestly, however, the way watch pricing (and buying experience) has drastically changed over the recent years, my sense of expectation per $ has become completely discombobulated

I have the polished titanium model…I think this has more the de bethune vibe…you have to look at their next offering, the Tellurium which is more interesting.

There is one with a heat blued titanium case as well, which is pretty nifty 👌🏻👍🏻
