Independents

By accident, I attended the Independent Watchmakers' Exhibition in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hong Kong. There was a discussion forum moderated by SJX, and the works of the following master watch makers were presented: Hajime Asaoka, Laurent Ferrier, ...  

It was a nice exhibit, as nice to meet purists and their watches as to see the displays.

It's a great opportunity to see so many top notch indie pieces under one roof, and to meet some fellow collectors/purists along the way. Seeing a Roger Smith next to a George Daniels was special. Was also very impressed by Christian Klings' work. The cher...

I do come here daily and comment from time to time, though seldom start a new thread.
