Haldimann H11/H12
Dear all
Am interested in the H11/12 models of Beat Haldimann.
Aside from the mainstream trinity pieces in my collection my only experience with independents is my Habring Erwin, a FPJ CB and a very early Dornblüth. First time to go a bit further with a more expensive independent piece. Love the design.
Question to existing or past owners of a Haldimann:
- comments please on your experience ordering and dealing with BH before and after sale
- comments please on watch finish, construction, reliability
- would you do it again?
- what other alternatives should I consider?

Beat Haldimann does not respond reliably to emails or calls and when he does his replies are brief and can be imprecise. Your deadline may slip by without a word. He clearly has no marketing or commercial infrastructure by choice and I would speculate tha...

My experience was identical to adrianh’s. Bad communication, missed deadlines (in ways that a modest amount of planning could have minimized or avoided altogether) but a lovely watch for your trouble.
Tried to email and inqure
A while back. Wanted to potentially order a piece, but never received response. Gave me pause and made me move on. The actual watches do look beautiful, btw.
