No doubt this award represents the work of the Habrings' huge international team of highly-paid marketing executives working tirelessly from offices around the globe employing generous slush funds to influence well-connected elite horology journalists. 
Or, it could be that they are a small company that makes fantastic watches with second-to-none quality control for customers who love value in fine watchmaking...customers like me. It could be that their personal touch and low overhead, combined with Richard's technical mastery, appeal to honest journalists and competition judges alike.
As it is so hard to know the truth, I suggest people must examine the Habring^2 product for themselves. I know I love my two watches from them. Of course, other than by the unfair influence of their workmanship, I don't think my opinions have been purchased.
