getting the time off it - at night
Shortly after receiving my Blue Northern Lights, I fully tanked it with an UV lamp and then set off for a 30 min walk after midnight to the darkest area of a city park, away from ambient light and street lamps. I crouched there under the bushes for a few minutes before deciding to leave for reasons of safety: Creatures of the Night and the City Cops.
There was still a background glow, but the hands had become invisible.

Well, it is a nice watch for summer, but the sustaining abilities of its (various) lumes are a disappointment.

This series was a big winner for Stepan, and deservedly so. Combines the best elements of many of his timepieces, and that lume looks like it would be awfully fun to stare at in a dark room. Well done. Darren

However, I am enjoying it tremendously now
in a murky room! The visibility is fantastic even without the special lighting effects. Just don't expect miracles way past sunset - or take along a portable UV flashlight (torch). Perhaps the violet (purple) version will provide greater contrast under th...
