Since two timepieces came in recently and was already at the workbench today on another piece, decided to check their 'health'. Both are fully wound before testing. M.A.D.1 Red (maybe 20 hours of being worn at most). . . Czapek Monochrome White after a bi...  

Be sure to adjust for lift angle as i did for the M.A.D.1 Red (to 49 instead of default 52).

That is °°precisely°° why I took the pic when the screen was showing the lift angle for the M.A.D.1 Red. Call it a hunch, yet knew that subject would be discussed... which IS important and some do forget about it. I find regulating timepieces relaxed and ... 

The 1000 series has a basic screen and works well. Here's the one i use amzn.to If you want a higher-quality screen and desire testing (usually OMEGA) coax movements, then you want the 1900 series amzn.to Both of these are good consumer-grade unit... 

I am curious which watch is most accurate in your collection.

All 'ratings' are when worn 24/7 on-wrist. I do not 'play games' like resting a mechanical timepiece in a certain position at night to help 'regulate' them. The SS SkyD blue (first year of release) runs about +3 seconds a month or thereabouts. For quartz,... 

Sorry, this must be a stupid question. I have zero knowledge with this type of machine. For example, if I want to purchase a watch and that watch has been sitting in the showcase for a long time, do you think the timegrapher can gauge the accuracy of the ... 

...and it can show you if the hairspring / balance spring is out of spec / weak. NOTE: Am not a 'professional' watchmaker by any measure, as am just a guy 'tinkering around' really and having fun. I have successfully regulated a few very inexpensive timep...
