First off, congrats on the academic achievement.
The watches are obviously secondary to that, but now that you have gotten it out of the way….
Your Bovet is a unique watch, this should not be something you encounter on another’s wrist except in the rarest of rare occasions and that’s kinda cool just in itself.
The dial is very ornate also, the engravings is something similar to what I have planned for a new watch due later this year. Which also has similar (small) sub dials for time and seconds and in some ways they will have some commonalities despite the other details being quite different.
And the reverse side as you note will give you pleasure and that knowing smile hopefully for years to come.
If it were me, I may change the strap to something that allows the dial to sing. Right now, dial and strap are competitors and I think the strap may be overpowering that star of a dial.
Congrats again. Let’s see some outdoor wrist shots in natural light too.
