Finally able to check if the tides follow the watch - the Habring2 Aurora on the seashore ⏱️🇦🇹🌊
And they do 😂 My amateur fishing help for our son doesn’t require a fully precise tide indication, so the advantage of having it on a large hand going around the whole dial as opposed to a tiny subdial and the precision it brings is somewhat lost on me. Still, one of the coolest additions for years, even if I say so myself 😉🎣

This is about as frequently used as my chronograph complications - they look pretty but the use case is more platonic than practical 😂🤷🏻♂️
Maybe we need to get the kids to ‘discover’ them 😁
At least my daughter is slowly getting to know music from before she was born. Last time she commented upon a very famous song from the 1980s with, ‘I am the only person of my generation that has heard this’ 😂😂😂

But given the critical acclaim they might do another tide watch at some point 😊👍🏻🤞🏻 Sailing used to be my sport but since the children arrived did hardly any. Hopefully soon 🤞🏻

With a flashing red dot inside the 9 o’clock subdial (I believe it can just about be seen in the picture) 😊👍🏻
