I was always scared when I had mine
I think they need to build a stronger case and an internal system to protect the magnets in the mechanism against extreme shocks and not to mention if a crack in the crystal would potentially drain the oil inside.

for how long you had the watch? did you have any issue of the time moving and becoming unset (since it is set from the backcase ) or what made you sell it ? Indeed is not very robust!
Ressence was a dream watch for me for a long time....

I like more a colorful dial then a black or white one .

My choice would be the Type 3 in white for all the reasons that you mentioned.
Somehow, I think the aesthetics of the 5 are quite nice.

In think the 5 is also nice but has more sporty vibes and may be not as wearable on a smaller wrist ..it still wears smaller than any 46 since it has no lugs
