Where to start,
well first of all from the huge compliments and admiration for your exceptional(once more)presentation.
The sheer quality of your pictures and the superb write up are to be saved in any watch fanatic library for future references,just outstanding.
You couldn t sum up De Bethune spirit,dan and intents better than that.As i said many many times before,there is something magic about DB and something different.For some reasons De Bethune give a great deal of reassurance of a solid monolithic independent brand,a rock of certainties,looks,principle,which is quite remarkable considering the size of the brand.
This year was a great year for the brand,with lots of contents,consolidation of their principle and most of all an impressive variety for such a small production.
Going back to the watches:
DB27,I agree about the display back,but in this case I like it,its coherent and gives such a distinctive look(I am still uncertain about my preference for the DB 28 back,for some reasons I am inclined to like the solid caseback too).
I agree that it s an easy choice for someone with already a DB or 2 in his collection.
Salmon is the one for me by a mile.......
SKYBRIDGE,what to say here,its adventurous at its maximum,requires a lot of front to carry it out,a watch for special occasion,just mesmerising how those hour markers(planets)float on the concave dial.Not for everybody but definitelly the brand s best effort in design and vision...just incredible.

I think you are incorrect on the material ,but I will check.....all the black elements(cases in the new all black DB28s and the black lugs on them and on the rose gold example)are not treated titanium but Zirconium......thats where I believe the quality of DB stands out from many others,as there is no treatment or any coating but the use of a brand new material....
The difference of these new black 28s stands also in the use of the classic rehaut instead of the squared indexes one of the special edition.
I am still uncertain if i like the solid case back or see through ..both have their charm...
Fantastic the Rose gold black lugs combo.....my favourite,...as you said:precious.

Did anyone obtain any further info on these developments from De Bethune? Hope to see a Resonique piece soon.... nothing on their website about this? Will we see some further magic at Baselworld that was not at SIHH? ;)
