However I would need to see the watch in person to decide on the red star burst design on the sub dial. I do like how it matches the red accent on the crown

Some may not like the design of the dial but one thing for sure, no one can deny the quality of the movement and the humility of Romain Gauthier.

tastes can and should differ and thats okay! but like you said, there is no denying of the quality Romain brings.

The dial is a little different as its meant to be classical yet futuristic, retro-futuristic. its classical with a twist! the bezel on the other hand is my absolute favourite element of this watch. The way it is polished and bushed entirely by hand really... 

I will be interested to hear more. On this one, I like the reddish sunburst coming from the small seconds. Gray and red are a great combination, both dial and strap. I am curious to know about the material of the red-crown. Is it metal, resin, rubber or o... 

the crown is made of titanium faceted the same shape as the bezel with hand hammering in the centre and a rubber band around it.

Was lucky to see the proto on mr Romain G his wrist when I bumped into him at GwDs . Like you said he is one of the nicest person in the industry and i hope to be able to add one of his amazing watches one day . Wear your amazing watch in best of health

ive worn the proto and can tell you that as lovely as it is, the production model is a lot better. The dial is brighter, the hands and numerals are much nicer with white lume and the movement is more interesting visually with perfect finishing and colours... 

There is a lot I like about this watch. The movement looks spectacular, the unusual case looks sculpted and the irregularly sized hour markers are quite striking. The oversized red crown is not at all discreet. Wonderful sports watch. Enjoy it in the best...

What size is that? The integrated strap may result in long ug to lug measurement though.

the way the case is sculpted makes it wrap around most peoples wrists.

For always pushing the envelope and doing things so differently, they rarely miss! This is another spectacular watch all around with a great finished movement that has a ton of depth. Would love to see any of them in the metal. Congrats, the first I have ...
